Why is the Thai embassy still asking for medical insurance for a Non-O visa based on marriage despite recent changes?

The Thai Pass was dropped and the requirement for Covid insurance for entry into the kingdom. Nothing to do with visa.

However the health insurance requirements for Visas has not changed.

Yes that would work only if you have an e-visa which doesn't get posted in your passport, you have to print and present it.

So you enter visa exempt, leave and use your e-visa to return.

You have 90 days to activate the e-visa from issue date.

Your meds or an equivalent will most likely be found and usually much cheaper.

90 day report requires no copies of anything.

Just present your passport, with the current paper in it.

Last time was 2 mins thru Phuket immigration drive-thru.
