a 90 day non-o in country requires a bank account and funds.

A non-o 90 day bought from an embassy outside Thailand does not.

yes, evisa is done online.

Not in person at an embassy.

If you have the non-o before you leave, one-way will/should be fine.

You may have to explain to your airline, Thai immigration will not require it.

Having the evisa makes things easier in Thailand, opening bank accounts and extension is just a little easier.

However it is still very doable in country.

oh well, Railay is a very good stop for a night or two.

Ao Nang is very touristic and does not have a great beach.

They do have a large night Market.
