yes use an agent to get bank account, the fastest way to do it.

In theory if you spent time and hit enough branches you will eventually get one.

Timing is critical for this, so it makes sense to use an agent once.

1) enter 30 days exempt probably extend the extra 30 days to buy more time 1900baht.

You'll need a minimum 15-21 days left on the stamp to apply for the non-o based on retirement

Get a bank account deposit 800k (pay an agent for this)

Get accommodations address registered tm30

2) apply for a 90 day non-o visa based on retirement. 2000baht

Season money in bank for 2 months.

3) apply for the 1 yr extension of stay 45 days or later into the 90 days (you can apply last day not recommended) 1900b
