If you exit and return before the multi entry tourist visa METV expires you will be given another 60 days and can extend 1x for 30 days locally.

On another note, some other countries may see this stamp and question or deny entry based on that overstay.

I have seen it first hand with someone 3 day overstay here denied entry into Singapore.

Best never to have an overstay in your passport.

incorrect.

Your stay ends the day the work permit and extension are canceled.

There is no grace period.

You may apply for an extension (and will be denied), then given 7 days to leave if you meet the exit criteria.
