Imagine walking into this place and every person behind the bar begins to drill you on what you want to drink. It's 10:45 am so you respond with, it's too early for a drink right now. I am meeting a person here in a few minutes, so I'll just smoke for now. The staff says ok but than the owner decides that I can not smoke unless I buy a drink. I told her Iam not ready for a drink yet. She replies that she is serious, so I said okay I won't smoke. When my meeting arrives we will go.
She didn't like that. She says that I can't wait there unless I buy a drink. I replied, I'll wait here as long as it takes for my meeting to arrive. If you don't like that then do what you have got to do. Here is the thing, I have been a regular here for close to a year. This isn't the first time I've seen such unprofessional behavior. Seriously her customer service is garbage and it's embarrassing that any adult would behave this way. I've spent thousands and thousands of baht here throughout my many visits. Just because the owner was in a bad mood and I failed to comply with her demands, it escalated to a point where I had to leave a review about it. It was that bad.
The tension in the air so thick that I left the bar top and went and say at a table in the corner to wait for my meeting to arrive. I do not speak Thai fluently but I have picked up enough to understand that they were talking about me the whole time. They didn't know I could understand most what they were saying. It was super awkward.
Here is the thing, this place has decent marijuana most of the time but it is Expensive at this place. Definitely More Expensive than shops right around the corner... Also, you can forget about a decent pour here. Shot glasses are almost never filled to the top, drinks air towards the weak side and they are expensive. Compared to other small shops near by. Its enough to make you miss a good local dive bar from back home who know how to take care of the customers. This place just simlly does not.
So while waiting for my meeting I decided to leave a review about my experience................
When the person arrived we began our meeting. That's when the music was turned on and went from very low to so loud that we were shouting to be heard. Clearly this is being done on purpose and with spite. The man I met with stood up looking for some way to lower the volume so we could continue the meeting. It was obvious that the owner was going out of her way to be rude. Super immature.
It must have been right about then that the email about a customer review came thru. I was through out because I left a review about the was I had just treated.
Little word of advice, if you don't want people to leave a poor review than stop treating your customers like they don't matter. You behavior is sickening and uncalled for. Seriously, grow up!
