ASTER 호텔 & 레지던스 - Hotel

The hotel was wonderful from start to finish. Cannot speak highly enough about them. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for taking care of me.

• Extra friendly staff, I got two little problems while the quarantine but fixed in minutes

• Maybe not places enough to relax out of the room but that's supportable

Nothing special to say , I spent the quarantine time without stress because the kindness of the staff

• The reception staff is great and helpful, PCR results relatively fast

• Breakfast can be improved.
• I arrived on a 16 hour flight and another two hours drive in the evening, very tired, could have been picked up with a meal

Overall comfortable in relation to the Corona's limitations, the hotel staff is courteous, a very clean hotel with strict adherence to quarantine

• Efficient meet / pick up from airport and transport to hotel in Pattaya
• Fast response to emails when arranging initial booking for Thailand Pass , etc

• Limited parking if you have your own car for self-drive home after one night Test and Go quarantine (and the Day 5 stay which is no longer required)

All in all Aster Hotel and Residence was a good choice for the Test and Go process. Met well at airport midday and transported to Pattaya for the first night with PCR test taken on check-in around 16.00 hrs with result given early next morning (happily negative). Also had to do a Day 5 test with further one night stay but this second fifth day PCR test and night stay requirement has now been cancelled. Will use Aster again if Test and Go / Thailand Pass requirement still exists in June when I'm travelling again - hopefully it may be gone by then !

I had to wait a while at the airport for my shared transport to the hotel. I got through the entry formalities quickly but the other two men assigned to the same van took longer. At the hotel, the nurse was waiting to do our tests and the check-in was quick. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was waiting in the morning, test results were available by 10:00am and I was on my way to my condo. The day 5 check-in and test were done promptly when I arrived about 6:00pm. Breakfast, test results and checked-out all were fine.

• No soap in room, shower was awful, drain was blocked and water filled up the shower cubicle.

I found the room at the Aster hotel to be poor, I paid a total of 5,200 baht for one night which included transfer from Suvarnabhumi airport and PCR test on arrival at the hotel. Hotel staff were helpful but the included breakfast was also poor. For the price I paid, I would expect a decent bathroom with amenities that worked, also not having soap supplied in the room was very inconvenient after a long flight. I will be returning to Thailand in November 2022 and will find a different hotel with better rooms if test-and-go is still a requirement to enter the country. I would not recommend Aster Hotel.

• The second night a different room full of smoke smell it was awful I complained they give me a different room. this room smilled like cigaret again.

The first night I arrived at 1:30 am from the airport by the time I was done with registration and Covid test I went inside the room about 2:15 am At about 9 am I called the front desk to ask if my covid test has come she said I will check and call you back 10 minutes later called to tell me you are free to go. The Thai government required to return at the same hotel after 4 days and stay for one night and take the covid test again so I showed up around 2pm on 11/02/2022 as I was told by the front desk receptionist as usual I went to the front desk registered and then walked to the covid test booth I needed to know what time they bring me dinner she said there is no dinner you have to order food from outside. I originally paid 17,500 Bhat for 8 days 7 night night at this hotel but the Thai government changed it to 2 nights 1 night stay and come back after 4 day and stay 2nd night. The second night they give me a room with very bad cigaret smell I called and complained then I went to the front desk and told her I will not stay in that room the lady tells me all our rooms are smoking room and some smell more than others so they switched my room and it was just a little better, in the morning they serve breakfast outside the room the won't let you know you have food and when you go outside you'll see the food on a little table sitting cold. they refund my balance 1 week later I was charge almost 8,000 Bhat since they were holding my money I was not able disagree with amount they charged me. Thanks to Thai government for these requirements they make.........

• Hard to use the app that downloaded test status, they tried and gave me QR code, not hotels fault, but cannot use enchana app.

Would stay again, very good place, I even tried to stay longer but it was a test and go, so was not allowed.

Only 1 litre of water in room & 2 cups of coffee ZERO in the fridge to purchase. Microwave all in Chinese? Expensive for a single night only.

the pics on the internet makes the hotel look nice but it is not really that nice and no transportation.

Needed a few items and asked if they would go to the 7 eleven for me and without any issues or questions they did, helped with the registration on morchana app

Very good choice, if you need to stay there for quarantine. The staff is very professional and always there to give you the best support.

People verry friendly and helpful Not many noise for sleeping. Room verry good and clean. Maybe next time take again desame hoetel.

The service at the hotel was amazing, very clear and direct. The food is what you would expect from quarantine. There was a menu but with such a quick turn around on the pcr test, the menu was not needed. The WiFi connected but kept dropping out. Which worried me a bit. The payment was not easy to follow. This needs to be easier to save a lot of confusion. Overall, very impressed and happy with the whole process from the point of landing at the airport to check out

The rooms are old and not thoroughly cleaned. The food was terrible. The PCR result was given within 6 hours - good. The staff are good.
