Siam Bayshore - Hotel

I chose Siam Bayshore as the hotel looks really nice on the internet, and location in Pattaya is close to home. On arrival, i was assigned a room in the annex behind the main hotel, which wasn’t as expected. Opening the room door I was overwhelmed with an odour of dampness. Everything in the room was moist, and before long, the entire tiled floor became so slippery it was difficult to walk around the room. I called reception who rearranged another room and I was relocated with no further issues. Prior to arriving, I had requested an exercise bike which was proposed at ฿7,000 for the duration of the stay, and a microwave oven oven to heat the typical lukewarm food served during quarantine. Neither were made available, and I lost interest in pursuing. Overall, the stay was as expected. Very basic room, average food, long days and nights. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful when needed. I believe there’s better hotels out there with better amenities, and more comfortable. I don’t believe I’ll visit Siam Bayshore again.

• In 11 days I saw the nurse and the guard twice. that was a stand-up. The texts in line and the phone calls from the lobby did well.

• You are not in a self-quarantine, but in a jail, offered by a hotel. You are treated as a leper like if you had Ebola. A quarantine room and a hotel room are not comparable!

On the last day I was allowed out of quarantine. I asked Hotel Siam Bayshore to stay in a normal hotel room for the last night. The hotel allowed me to do that. that was the best and i enjoyed it a lot.

• The size of room and free access to private balcony facing garden made it easier to stay.
• Friendly LINE communication by manager was also nice.

• No cusions on chair and bed sofa, which I was told to regulations, made it uncomfortble when eating.

It would be nice if I could choose volume of foods. (It was too much for me and I was worried about food loss.)

• Everythings but the room is old and there is no sofa, for 65000 thb its just ok
